This project is part of a series of public consultation initiatives in which KAST.3 has been involved in Trifylia municipality. A joint effort between KAST.3 and architects O.Diakakis and K.Dimitriadis, this project is the result of an appointment by the local independent citizen movement, KY.MA.
The aim is to transform the currently unplanned landscape of Kyparissia’ s port to a vibrant area strongly connected to the urban fabric. Place making tools are strategically selected for each of the three spatial zones identified, each with a distinctive character: a seafront park, an urban plaza as a magnitude of activities and the fishing port are activated with relevant programs throughout the year.
